Dr. Salamanca received his B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico. He went on to receive his M.D. Degree from Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico. His residency training was at the Catholic Medical Center, New York, Brooklyn and Queens, Inc. (affiliated with Cornell University); and Ponce Regional Hospital in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He practiced OB/GYN with the Air Force for three years, and had been in private practice since 1993 in Lake Wales before joining Heart Of Florida OB/GYN in 1998. In addition, he is an Associate Professor with the University of Central Florida School of Medicine. He is married with three children.
